Entering the Amùri restaurant is like entering the Sicilian heart of the two hosts. They feel their passion for their land beat by the refined design and the splendid and friendly welcome. You immediately feel enveloped by the proverbial Sicilian hospitality translated into their dishes with the taste of Sicily and the sweet and spicy smells of the earth. Of course, the dishes recall the strong tradition such as the Busiate with sardines and fennel with the sprinkling of breadcrumbs (soft breadcrumbs), or the bavette with scampi, cherry tomatoes and mussel cream, or even more the cuttlefish ink arancin; to satisfy all of Sicily, I would also suggest arancinA, perhaps the classic one with meat sauce, with the special touch of the master chef who knows how to give a special flavor to all courses. Fish is the absolute protagonist of the menu, but there is also a lot of choice for those who prefer meat or for those who are vegetarian.
For the dessert, you can choose between a classic cannolo with ricotta or a semifreddo with pistachio from Bronte … but there is much more. All this, accompanied by a sweet wine, including marsala, zibibbo, muscat, passito, malvasia ..
And as Andrea Camilleri said: “What do you miss about Sicily? U scrusciu du mari. ”
But the flavor and hospitality are all there!
